Day 01: Arrive Kolkata

Arrive at Kolkata airport, Meeting and assistance on arrival by TRAVEL CONSORTIUM INDIA representative at the arrival lounge holding plaque card and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure and stay overnight at Kolkata.

 

Day 02: Kolkata

After buffet breakfast, proceed for full day sight-seeing tour of Kolkata. It is one of the largest cities in India, situated on the banks of the Hoogly River. It was once the capital of India under the British Raj till 1912 when the British moved the capital to Delhi. Visit the Victoria memorial hall, Town Hall. Also visit St. John's Church (1787) - Close to Raj Bhavan, St. John's (among the Anglican Churches) is the successor to St. Anne's Church. Stay overnight at hotel.

 

Day 03: Kolkata  - Bhubaneswar (By - Dhauli Express: ETD: 0600 hrs / ETA: 1245 hrs)

Morning transfer to railway station to board train for Bhubaneswar. Arrive at Bhubeneshwar railway station& transfer to your hotel. Stay at Bhubaneswar.

 

Day 04: Bhubaneswar

After breakfast, enjoy full day sightseeing tour visiting Lingaraja, Parasurameshwar and Mukteshwar, Rajarani temples which are the best Odhisa architecture from 7^th to 10^th century. Also visit Dahuligiri. Later enjoy an excursion to Udaigiri, Ratnagiri and Lalitgiri. Return and Stay overnight at Bhubanedhawar.

 

Day 05: Bhubaneswar - Puri (65 kms)

Drive to the coastal settlement of Puri on the way visiting 64 Yogini Temple (Only one of its type in India in best preserved condition) at Heerapur and also visit the Bell Metal Workers’ village. Continue your journey stopping at Pipli (Appliqué-work village), Birpratappur (Brahmin village) & Raghurajpur (Artisans’ village declared as Heritage village). On arrival stay at a Hotel at Puri.

 

Day 06: Konark Excursion

After breakfast, excursion tour to Konark, site of the Sun Temple a UNESCO world heritage site. Also Visit the fisherman village. Later explore by-lanes of the old and traditional Hindu city by rickshaw or by foot. Overnight at hotel

 

Day 07: Puri - Gopalpur (Approx. Distance 114 kms)

After breakfast, drive to Gopalpur en-route stops at Chilika. Chilika is Asia’s largest brackish water lake spread over 1,100 square kilometres. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake. Continue your journey to Gopalpur famous for its virgin beaches. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure to explore the beautiful beaches. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 08: Chandragiri & Taptapani Excursion (Approx drive distance 95 kms one way)

After breakfast proceed for an excursion to Tibetian settlement at Chandragiri to explore the new world amidist of natural forest and SAORA villages. Later drive to Taptapani famous for hot sulphur springs. In the evening return back to Gopalpur to for overnight stay.

 

Day 09: Gopalpur - Bhubaneswar Departure (Approx. drive distance 110 kms one way)

 

After breakfast drive back to Bhubaneswar airport in time to board domestic flight for Kolkata / Delhi . On arrival at Kolkata / Delhi connect to your return flight back home.
