Destination: Mumbai - Lonavala - Khandala - Karla - Matheran - Nashik - Shirdi - Aurangabad – Mumbai

 

Day 01: Arrival Mumbai

On arrival at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport or Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station, you can head for your hotel to relax. After lunch, you can proceed for a half city sightseeing tour which includes a tour of the Mumbai beaches covering Marine drive, Juhu beach, Chaupati beach and Crawford market. Return after the expedition and stay overnight in Mumbai.

 

Day 02: Mumbai City Tour

After a healthy breakfast make your way for a full day sightseeing tour of Mumbai. Some notable sights to visit are the Gateway of Mumbai, Elephanta Caves etc. Return to your hotel by sundown and stay overnight in Mumbai.

 

Day 03: Mumbai - Lonavala (85 km)

Start your day with a heavy breakfast in the hotel and head out for Lonavala. A Jaunt through amazing hilly slopes and lush greenery of Mother Nature as you make your way to your pit stop. On arrival, check into your hotel and rest for a while. Relax your body, mind and soul with drinks and stay overnight in Lonavala.

 

Day 04: Lonavala - Khandala - Karla– Lonavala

Leave your hotel after heavy breakfast for a full day expedition. Drive to Khandala via national highway 48 that will take up to 8 to 14 minutes. Since Lonavala, Khandala is located in the Sahyadri Mountain ranges you can sight see Bhushi Dam, Valvan Dam, Duke’s Nose, Ryewood Park, and Tiger’s leap.

 

Head to Karla crossing Lonavala via the same route, the journey may take 28 minutes. Witness the ruins of Karla caves and the Buddhist Temple. These rock-cut caves are ranked amongst the oldest examples of Buddhist temple art in India. Return to Lonavala and stay overnight in Lonavala.

 

Day 05: Lonavala - Matheran (210 km)

After breakfast, start the 2-hour drive reach Matheran. On arrival, explore the most amusing surroundings and enjoy rickshaw rides. Tour spots of attractions like Chouk, Panorama, Louisa, Garbut Point and Echo. Come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 06: Matheran – Nashik (170 km)

After breakfast, within couple of hours you will reach Nasik. Check-in at the pre-booked hotel, Later visit Sunder Narayan Temple, Sita Gupta Caves and Trimbakeshwar Temple in Nasik. Come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 07: Nashik - Shirdi (90 km)

After breakfast leave for Shirdi, to visit Sai Temple. Sai temple is the most revered temple devoted to Sai Baba. After reaching at Shirdi, have quick check in at hotel. Later, have visit to the fmaousSai Baba temple. Spend the day in Shirdi. Overnight stay is planned at the hotel in Shirdi.

 

Day 08: Shirdi - Aurangabad (110 km)

After breakfast, after couple of hours drive reach Aurangabad. Check-in at the pre-booked hotel. Later tour the Deogiri Fortress, Daulatabad Fort, BibikaMaqbara one can compare it as a replica of Taj Mahal. See, Panchakki, a huge water mill. Overnight stay is planned in Aurangabad hotel.

 

Day 09: Aurangabad – Ellora Caves - Auangabad

After hearty breakfast, the excursion to famous Ellora caves showing sculptures of Buddhism, Jainism and Brahmanism. Ellora caves were built in between 6th and 11th century and come under World Heritage Sites. You will be mesmerized by seeing Viharaas, Kailasa Temple and the Buddhist Vishvakarma Chaitya. Overnight stay is planned in hotel of Aurangabad.

 

Day 10: Aurangabad – Mumbai (340 km)

Check out from the hotel and head your way back to the metropolis city Mumbai. On arrival to the city, head straight for Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
