DAY 01: Arrive Delhi

Meet our airport representative on arrival at the airport ho will welcome you in Indian traditional style and you will be transferred to the hotel. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Stay overnight in Delhi.

 

DAY 02: Delhi – Shimla (By Train / Altitude 2206 Mts.)

Assisted transfer to board the train to Kalka from here you will board Himalayan queen train to experience an unforgettable journey registered in The Guinness Book as the greatest narrow gauge engineering achievement in India from Kalka to Shimla. Arrive and transfer to the hotel for two nights at Shimla.

 

DAY 03: Shimla

After breakfast and explore the Shimla city with The Mall, The Ridge, Viceroy Lodge and Gaiety Theatre with beautiful town covered with pine forests, breathtaking views and legacy of the British era long gone by.

 

DAY 04: Shimla - Kufri (Altitude 2455 Mts) - Shimla 

After breakfast enjoy an excursion tour to Kufri famous for its wide views, picnic spots, ski slopes and horse riding. On a clear day you can see the entire range of snow peaks. On return visit Jakhoo Temple, dedicated to monkey god Hanuman Ji, the attendant of Lord Rama. Stay overnight in Shimla.  

 

DAY 05: Shimla – Tara Devi Hiking (Altitude 2100 Mts.) – Shimla

After breakfast, drive to Tara Devi bus stand and trek to Tara Devi Top, rich in flaura and fauna. This is a moderate hike about for two hours, through the dense forest and you can reach the high point 2100 mts for excellent views of Shimla town. Return and stay overnight in Shimla.

 

DAY 06: Shimla - Sarahan (Altitude 2165 Mts. / 185 Kms / Drive 07 Hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Sarahan. Reach Sarahan and check in at the hotel. In the evening visit Bhimakali Temple, the main temple of this region, built in Indo – Tibetian architectural style and decorated with Silver, dedicated to Lord Narsingha & Lord Raghunath. Also visit Lanka Vir temple and Shrikhand Peak. Stay overnight in Sarahan.

 

DAY 07: Sarahan – Karchham – Sangla (Altitude 2680 Mts. / 95 Kms / Drive 03 Hrs)  

After breakfast, drive to Sangla (Kinnaur) through the Baspa Valley. Kinnaur hold world’s three grandest mountain rages - The Zanskar, The Great Himalayaand the Dhauladhar. Enroute visit Karchham (Altitude 1,899 Mts.) located at the confluence of the Sutlej & Baspar Rivers is the start is the picturesque Baspar Valley of which Sangla is the largest settlement. Baspa Valley is the prettiest valley in the Himalayas. Reach Sangla and stay overnight in Sangla.

 

DAY 08 Sangla – Chitkul (Altitude 3450 Mts.) – Sangla

After breakfast, enjoy full DAY visit of Basteri Village, Rakcham and chitkul. Rancham is situated on the bank of Baspa River, at an altitude of 2900 meters and famous for its beauty. The last and highest village in this valley is Chitkul (28 Kms from Sangla). Return to Sangla and stay overnight in Sangla. 

 

DAY 09: Sangla – Kalpa (Altitude 2960 Mts. / 51 Kms / Drive 02 Hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Kalpa. The biggest village in 77 villages and once a favourite haunt of Lord Dalhousie. Reach Kalpa and check in at the hotel for overnight stay.

 

DAY 10: Kalpa

After breakfast, visit Recong Peo, at the altitude of 2670 Mts. It is the distric headquarter of Kinnaur and the main market and town, it offers a fine view of the Kinner Kailash. Also visit Kothi, at the altitude of 2700 Mts. It is an ancient village only 2 Km above Recong Peo. This is the village famous for the temple of Goddess Shuwang Chandika and Lord Bhairon. Stay overnight in Kalpa.

 

DAY 11: Kalpa – Shimla (245 Kms / 09 Drives)

After breakfast, travel to Shimla. Arrive Shimla and check in at the hotel for overnight stay. 

 

DAY 12: Shimla – Kalka - Delhi

After breakfast, assisted transfer to railway station to board the Train Himalayan Queen to Kalka. On arrival Kalka railway station change the train and board the train to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Stay overnight in Delhi.

 

DAY 13: Delhi Departure

After breakfast, assisted transfer to Delhi International airport to board onwards flight.
