Destination: Trivandrum - Kovalam - Kollam - Alleppey - Thekkady - Munnar - Cochin
Day 01: Arrive Trivandrum
Meet and assistance on arrival at the airport by your tour manager and transfer to the hotel for two nights stay at Kovalam.
Day 02: Kanyakumari Excursion
Full day excursion to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of peninsular India, and the meeting point of three oceans. Enjoy sightseeing and spectacular sunset before returning back to Kovalam.
Day 03: Kovalam – Kollam
Travel to Kollam, the centre of the country’s cashew trading and processing industry. Afternoon take a walk in this beautiful small town surrounded by the Lake and stay two nights at Kollam.
Day 04: Kollam
Interact with locals and experience their day to day life or relax at the resort offering options of various Ayurveda treatments.
Day 05: Private Backwater Cruise
Transfer to embark private houseboat at Alleppey and sail through the beautiful backwaters of Kerala. Witness distinct lifestyles of the locals and vast network of lagoons, lakes, rivers, canals. Enjoy all meals and overnight on board.
Day 06: Thekkady
Disembark after breakfast and travel to Thekkady known for Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Afternoon take a walk and boat ride on the Lake to watch wildlife and stay two nights at Thekkady.
Day 07: Periyar
Visit a spice plantation farm growing cardamom, pepper, coffee, and tea. On our way back you could stop at the local market and purchase some fragrant spices.
Day 08: Periyar – Munnar
Enjoy beautiful drive to Munnar, famous for its scenic beauty and marvellous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. Remaining of the day is free for your own activities and stay two nights at Munnar.
Day 09: Munnar
Explore city which is difficult to describe and witness tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometres, lush green hills, very low population and far from pollution.
Day 10: Munnar – Cochin
Travel to Cochin, a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as ‘God’s Own Country’. Stay two nights at Cochin.
Day 11: Cochin
Go for sightseeing tour of the city where the Arabs, British, Chinese, Dutch, and Portuguese left indelible marks on the history and development of Cochin. Finish your evening with watching famous Kathakali dance drama at the theatre.
Day 12: Cochin departure
After a leisurely breakfast tour finishes with transfer to the airport.
