Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Traditionally welcome at Delhi airport with assistance and transfer to the hotel. Stay overnight in Delhi.

 

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing

After short tour briefing by our tour manager, enjoy the guided sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi, start with drive past to Red Fort, enjoy the Cycle Rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, visit Jama Masjid, Rajghat. Later visit India Gate, Secretariat buildings & Humayun Tomb. Also visit Qutub Minar. Stay overnight in Delhi.

 

Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur (Aprx. 270Km / 05 ½hrs drive)

Today depart to Jaipur; Planned by Vidyadhar Bhattacharya, Jaipur holds the distinction of being the first planned city of India. Renowned globally for its coloured gems, the capital city of Rajasthan combines the allure of its ancient history with all the advantages of a metropolis. The bustling modern city is one of the three corners of the golden triangle that includes Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.

 

Arrive Jaipur and check in at the hotel. After relaxation enjoy the Movie at Raj Mandir Cinema. Return and stay overnight in Delhi.

 

Day 04: Jaipur Sightseeing

Enjoy guided sightseeing tour visit Amber Fort with Elephant ride. Later visit City Palace & Jantar Mantar the observatory. Later visit the Laxmi Narayan Birla Temple. Return and stay overnight in Jaipur.

 

Day 05: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (Aprx. 242Km / 04 ½hrs drive)

Depart to Agra, en route visit to Fatehpur Sikri; this place was the once blooming capital of the Mughal Emperor Akbar till 1585, when the city was abandoned due to the proximity of the area to the Rajputana neighborhood and scarcity of water. The capital was moved back to Agra and town remained a Ghost town during most of the older times.

 

Later continue to Agra. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Later visit the Agra Fort. Evening is for leisure or you can also visit the Mohabbatein Taj Show. Stay overnight in Agra.

 

Day 06: Agra – Orchha (By Train) - Khajuraho (Aprx. 190Km / 03 ½hrs drive)

Assisted transfer at Agra cant railway station to board the train Jhansi. Assistance on arrival at Jhansi railway station and drive to Khajuraho via Orchha to visit Jahangir Mahal, Raja Mahal, Ramraja temple.

 

Later continue drive to Khajuraho. On arrival check in at the hotel, evening visit to colorful Light & Sound Show at Khajuraho’s temples. Stay overnight in Khajuraho.

 

Day 07: Khajuraho – Panna National Park - Khajuraho  

Early morning proceed with packed breakfast to enjoy the Jeep Safari at Panna National Park; renowned as the 22nd tiger reserve of India. By covering an area of 542.67 sq km, Panna Reserve lies besides the areas of the Ken River at a distance of 30 km from Khajuraho. The park has numerous sites of historical importance with stone paintings dating back to Neolithic era. The ideal home to Indian tigers, Panna is composed of deciduous forests to include other species like Indian wolf, four-horned antelope, sloth bear pangolin, rusty spotted cat, leopard, carcal and gharial.

 

Afternoon visit to the historical Chandela’s temple. Evening enjoy the Cultural Dance Show. Stay overnight in Khajuraho.

 

Day 08: Khajuraho- Bhopal (By Train)

Day is free for leisure. By late afternoon transfer to railway station for travel to Bhopal; Owing to the rich natural and cultural heritage the city has preserved, there is a variety of places to visit in Bhopal. This beautiful city, located in the heart of India in the state of Madhya Pradesh, is dotted with numerous tourist attractions that are nearly perfect for those who seek solace in wandering and exploring.  

 

On arrival check in at the hotel and stay overnight in Bhopal.

 

Day 09: Bhopal – Sanchi - Bhopal

Morning proceed for excursion to UNESCO heritage site Sanchi known for its stupas, monasteries, temples and pillars dating back from the 3rd Century BC to 12 Century AD. Afternoon return and enjoy city tour visiting the famous Moti Masjid, Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Also visit the Tribal museum. Stay overnight at Bhopal.

 

Day 10: Bhopal – Bhimbhetka – Bhojpur - Bhopal

Today leave for full day excursion tour to Rock Shelters of Bhimbhetka the site of south Asia's richest collection of prehistoric cave paintings and Bhojpur. On your way back to Bhopal visit impressing Bhojeshwar temple (Shiva temple, Bhojpur) that began its construction in the 11th century but was never completed. Return back to hotel. Stay overnight at Bhopal.

 

Day 11: Bhopal – Ujjain - Fort Amla (Aprx. 250Km / 04 ½ hrs Drive)

Drive to Fort Amla, en-route visiting temples of Ujjain .Ujjain is one of the seven holy cities situated on banks of Shipra. Continue your journey and on arrival check into the hotel. Established by the descendents of Bappa Rawal, the Amla riyasat boasts of a proud heritage. The Fort is an architectural delight to behold with bold sweeping arches and long open terraces. Stay overnight at Fort Amla.

 

Day 12: Fort Amla

Today enjoy the walks in the village surrounding the fort and participate in the activities that thrill city slickers—milking cows, harvesting crops. Stay overnight at Fort Amla.

 

Day 13: Fort Amla - Dhar (Aprx. 150 kms / 03hrs Drive)

Drive to the Dhar, once the princely state of Madhya Pradesh ruled by Puars, entitled to 15 gun salutes.  

 

Arrive and check in at Jhirabagh Palace. Afternoon explore the rich heritage of city of Dhar visiting the Fort thought to be built by Mohammad Bin Tughlag in 12th Century. Tomb of warrior saint Shaykh Changal, Lal Masjid, Bhojshala and Kamal Maula Mosque etc. Stay overnight at the hotel in Dhar.

 

Day 14: Dhar – Mandu - Maheswar -Dhar

Today enjoy an excursion of Mandu & Maheshwar. Jahaz Mahal, Hindola Mahal or the swing Palace, Baz Bahadur’s Palace etc are some of the interesting sights at Mandu.  Later continue to Maheshwar. Visit the Maheshwari textile weavers. Also visit the Ghat of the city. Also visit the temple by the Ghats of Narmada River where the pilgrims and holy men spent hours in silent meditation. Evening enjoy boat ride at River Narmada before returning back to Dhar. Stay overnight at Dhar. 

 

Day 15: Dhar - Indore (Aprx. 70Km / 1 ½hrs)

Drive to Indore – the largest city of the state of Madhya Pradesh. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Afternoon proceed for the sightseeing tour of the city's main landmark the 200 year old Rajwada palace. Also visit the mirror temple, Central Museum of Indore which houses a magnificent album of terracotta, old coins, paintings, shields, armours etc and the neo classical wonder Lal Bagh palace. Stay overnight at Indore.

 

Day 16: Indore Departure                     

Assistance on departure and transfer to the airport for flight to Delhi / Mumbai from where you will catch the connected flight for onward journey.
