Duration: 10 Nights / 11 Days
Destination: Kathmandu - Nagarkot - Bhaktapur - Kakani - Trisuli - Gorkha - Annapurna - Bhorletas - Bengas Lake - Kali Temple - Pokhra

Day 1:  Arrive Kathmandu

Meet our airport representative on arrival at the airport who will welcome you in Nepali traditional style and you will be transferred to the hotel. Today visit some top attractions -- Monkey temple and Durbar Square.

 

Day 2: Kathmandu – Nagarkot - Bhaktapur

Drive to the hill station of Nagarkot on the north-eastern rim of Kathmandu Valley and then proceed by bike a further 4 km uphill to the highest point Nagarkot Tower, where we'll have views from Ganesh Himal to Everest. Then we ride downhill on dirt trails until Bhaktapur. Arrive Bhaktapur, Check in at the hotel. Stay overnight.

 

Day 3: Bhaktapur - Kakani

Today's ride will be mostly uphill until reaching the northern rim of Kathmandu Valley to the hill station town of Kakani at 2,073 m/ 6,800 ft where the beautiful Langtang range greets us. Arrive Kakani and stay overnight in Camp.

 

Day 4: Kakani – Trisuli

A downhill start to our cycling as we ride to the Trisuli Valley. We ride through several settlements with terraced fields and camp on the banks of the Trisuli River. Arrive Trisuli and stay overnight in Camp.

 

Day 5: Trisuli - Gorkha

Today, we continue to ride by the side of the Trisuli River. We then transfer up to Gorkha, a former capital of Nepal, where we take a sightseeing tour of the historical Royal Palace of the former Shah dynasty. Arrive Gorkha and stay overnight in Camp.

 

Day 6: Gorkha - Annapurna

Today you will have great downhill ride from Gorkha, passing though Turture village and orange orchards that will be ripe October to December. The ride then levels out and joins the start of the popular Annapurna trekking route. Arrive Annapurna and stay overnight in Camp.

 

Day 7: Annapurna – Bhorletar

Leaving the Annapurna views behind, we ride alongside a stream into beautiful Kunchha village. Then its dirt trails as we ride mostly uphill to Bhorletar, passing small typical Nepali villages on the way. Arrive Bhorletar and stay overnight in Camp.

 

Day 8: Bhorletar – Bengas Lake

A challenging riding day as we cycle mostly uphill and on dirt tracks to Begnas Ridge, where again we'll be treated to amazing Himalayan views. We set up camp on Begnas Lake with snow-covered peaks dominating the landscape. Arrive Bengas Lake and stay overnight in Camp / Resort.

 

Day 9: Bengas Lake  - Kali Temple

After having breakfast alongside Begnas Lake we ride again mostly uphill for about 15 kms on dirt trails to the top of Tiwari Danda and to Kali Temple (named after the Goddess of victory over evil powers) and the spot for our overnight camp.

 

Day 10: Kali Temple - Pokhra

Our final day of riding will be through villages before we join the main road into Pokhara, Nepal's 2nd largest city. We check into our hotel and the afternoon is free to explore the cafes or to hire a boat on the lake.

 

Day 11: Pokhra – Onward Destination

After breakfast, move to your onward destination.
